Now in its 35th year, the route takes in some great scenery over two laps of an undulating course, all on country roads.
With three fairly steep hills on each lap the course is testing, yet the hills do not deter runners returning year after year to take part.
The Folksworth 15 has become an annual race fixture for many runners and is a great training race in preparation for one of the many spring marathons. In recent years it has established itself as the first of the 9-race Cambs Road Race League.
Each year we receive very positive feedback which has given the Folksworth 15 its reputation of a well organised, well marshalled race with a technical top for all runners.

Folksworth is located off the A1(M) junction 16 at Norman Cross, 5 miles south of Peterborough. Follow main road to Folksworth and look for signs & marshals who will direct you.
For sat navs use postcode PE7 3SX but follow car park signs once in the village.
Please use the car parks on the edge of the village (follow signs and marshals' instructions). There is no parking in the village.
We recommend runners arrive at least 1.5 hours before the start of the race.
A taxi service will be provided to/from race HQ. Each car park has a colour, please make a note of which one you are in to help the taxi drivers.
Race numbers are to be collected on the day from the village hall.
Supervised baggage storage is available at Race HQ in the school hall. Refreshments are available in the village hall.
Runners must allow for the 15-minute walk from Race HQ to the start. All runners will be reminded at 10.45am to make their way to the start.
Items left at the start will be returned to the Lost Property box in the school hall.
There are 6 water stations on the route, including at the finish.
All runners must run on the left hand side of the road at all times.
We do not permit headphones to be worn during the race, including the bone conduction type, following UKA Rule TR55 S5 for lapped races on open roads.
Failure to comply unless for medical reasons (stated in entry) will lead to disqualification.
It is with regret that we include this section within the race instructions but it has become necessary following a number of incidents ahead of and during the 2024 race. There were multiple incidents of race participants of both sexes openly urinating in the village and an incident of a pedestrian being run into on the course during the race. (We provide toilet facilities at the village hall including urinals for men.)
If there are further incidents of this nature observed by marshals or reported by villagers the runner(s) will be disqualified from the race and barred from future events.
If pedestrians are on the course it is the runner's responsibility to avoid them.
An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entering the event, whether or not the participant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
Prize giving will take place at approximately 1pm in the school hall.
